Association, U.S.A. The Alzheimers Association is the only national voluntary organization in the United States dedicated to creating a world without Alzheimers disease while optimizing quality of life for individuals and their families. Its mission is to provide leadership to eliminate Alzheimers disease through the advancement of research while enhancing care and support services for individuals and their families. Since its founding in 1980 by family caregivers, the Alzheimers Association has funded more than $82 million in Alzheimer research. It has nearly 200 chapters across the United States that provide education and support programs and services to Alzheimer families. Goals
