World Alzheimer Congress 2000 was uniquely positioned to make a difference in Alzheimer treatment and care. The exchange of ideas there — across cultures and professions — can help make Alzheimer’s a distant memory.

Since congress participants were concerned with different challenges related to the disease — finding the causes and cure, treating symptoms, improving quality of life — Alzheimer 2000 was segmented into three programs: Pivotal Research, Bridging Research and Care, and Creative Care. Each program involved internationally renowned speakers, networking opportunities, and state-of-the-art exhibits and poster sessions.
